Time to end the suffering

I posted on here last week about my chicken who had lost her balance. After several suggestions from here, we went ahead and took her to the vet. However she can't even stand up anymore and I think it is time to end her suffering. How do you know it's time and what is the most humane way of doing it?

My response is:

When your chicken tells you it has had enough... do not give up on them until they give up on you.

If she stops eating/drinking and shows no interest in her surroundings.. then it is time for her..... easiest and most certain way is to chop their head off with an axe....it is instantaneous and although not pleasant for the person carrying out the act it is better for the chicken. Difficult but sometimes necessary.
