Time to snuggle (and sniff) **with pics**

I just love my chickens! They compete for the area around my neck to snuggle and they smell so good. I just love to sit with them before they go to roost. In the second pic, Lilly is trying to snuggle under my hair. And my lil roo has gotten so pretty; just look:

Awww. He is gorgeous and the girls are very loving. I have a Delaware who likes to get on my shoulder and "groom" (read pull) my hair. I decided that I had to put a stop to that since I'd like to keep my hair

.

I tried your taming techniques when the chicks were little and it worked well. They are all quite willing to be handled. Most of them aren't particularly loving, but at 12 weeks they are VERY BUSY doing chicken things especially since they only get out of the run for an hour or two during the day.
