When do you move chicks from a box with a heat lamb to the chicken coop! This is so new to us, first flock! Chicks are about 6 weeks and are starting to get out of box!

It depends on the what the weather is like where you live. Six week old chicks can tolerate temps. of 70 degrees, maybe a few degrees cooler. In a draft free coop of course.
The one thing you don't want to do is to take them from under a heat lamp in the brooder and suddenly stick them in a coop that is considerably cooler. Too much of a shock to their systems. It's best to wean them off the heat lamp before moving them.

If they are six weeks old, they should be feathered completely. As stated by gritsar, it all depends on your regional temperatures.
Where are you located?

Also, only the first couple of weeks of 90 degrees with heat lamp, then slowly move the heat so it goes down about 5 degrees per day. That weans them off the direct heat.

Depends on your weather:/ Any way you can run a heat lamp if it is really cold out there? I used an extension cord from the garage to the coop. Also, if you want to keep them in the brooder, get replacement screening for screen windows at the hardware store, a couple of stips of scrap lumber, and stapler...you have a lid for your brooder! I placed a book or something else heavy on top of the screen to keep my nosey Golden Retreiver from aiding the chicks in their escape:D

My girls are about 7 weeks and they've been escaping like POWs. It gets chilly here still so I'll be putting a lamp on them when needed but for the most part they've let me know that they want out.
