my golden comet just started laying, altho it ranges from 930 , than 11 am than noon is that a normal thing or will she settle in to a regular routine eventually?

All chickens lay on a 25 hour or longer cycle. Each day they will lay an hour later than the day before for roughly a week (maybe more or less) until they gather a 'clutch' of eggs.

Once they do they reset - they skip a day & lay in the morning again to start the whole thing over.
