Is it ok for my hens to eat Timothy Hay? I was looking for some alfalfa and all I could find was Timothy hay. After buying it, I was concerned that if they ate it, it would wind up getting stuck in their crop and I just lost a chicken yesterday to vent prolapse as best I can tell, and don't want to lose any more. Does anyone else feed their hens Timothy hay?
