I live in North East Arkansas, single mom to my 2 wonderful redneck divas and our dog Bandit. Have had chickens in our family life since I was a kid. Now that it's just me and my girls and my dog, we are planning on having a small flock of egg layers this coming year or at least have everything done and ready to get our flock in and accustomed to our new life by late summer. Can't wait to see what all I've missed and catch up on my learning of raising feathered friends and make sure I have the best plans and practices used to start our first ever girls only flock...thanks for letting me join ya..tina

Greetings and welcome to BYC Tina! So glad you joined us. Though you've obviously had experience, there's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

Oh, if you haven't done so already, PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. Old folks like me will never remember from this post. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes.
