Tiniest chicken ever!

I'm betting Prime is a Prima! There is just something about the face that screams bossy pullet to me! But then I have a 5 month old pullet that just fooled me by sprouting saddle feathers so what do I know,:gig

You have done a fantastic job with that baby. He/she is looking great.

They are far more resilient than we give them credit for being and a lot tougher. Thank you so much for letting us share in Prime's journey!
LOL I thought the same thing. Thanks love!

Glad that Prime/Prima is doing well.

My little Lex finally got up to 10.3 ounces yesterday, at 5 months old. We had a bit of a scare because she suddenly started pecking about an inch too high to eat her food on Monday, but after a few days inside with a little work she's back to normal. I think someone may have pecked her and rattled her wee little brain a bit, because nothing else changed at all and the others are fine. Plus she's finally molting, so maybe that messed her up somehow. She did earn the nickname Lexi HeiHei now, after Moana's poor bantam chicken that also couldn't eat properly.

When she got to back in the coop yesterday she immediately strutted in and reminded them that she's the boss. She's such a brat. I know that being a dwarf she's going to have more issues than a normal bird, but we're doing the best we can for her.

Oh so awesome! I may need to sit Prime on the scale just to see. She looks amazing and that bossy attitude is def a giveaway that the bird is a trooper.

So Prime is a Prima? And a right pretty one at that. What a good job you did with her and what a pretty little lady she has grown into being. Good job Prime! Mom too!
