I had to add something this evening. Every time I go into the Nursery/Bathroom to look at the hatchlings, I smile SO big. They look like little black cotton-balls running around in there. They're SO itsy-bitsy!
But all three are finally past the wobbly standing stage and just scoot around in the Rubbermaid bin on the shelf liner I've put on top of the pine shavings. They are so small the act of pooping requires them to stop, step BACKWARDS, stand up tall, and poop. Then they start forward again, on the run. And taking a drink of water involves total body control in order to point their beaks up at the ceiling for the little glug, glug of a drop of water. Sometimes they fall backwards.
