Tiny ants EVERYWHERE in the house - HELP!

I lived in South Florida for many years and we had them there , the only thing that worked was the Terro ant killer.
They walk in lines and just put some on cardboard in their path!

I tried the ant baits, they just crawled over, under, through those things. The best thing that has worked for me is the TERRO, and they make it in a trap now, so no more pieces of cardboard, got mine at the feedstore and I believe wally world carries them now. Good Luck!!!!

White vinigar , and borax , not together , you make a peremeter around the out side of youre house with the borax and then you sweep and mop the floors and then mop again with white vinigar , wipe down counters and cabnets with white vinigar as well . Yes it will smell bad at first but the smell only last for about 10-15 minutes then its gone .
Good luck , and that is strait vingar not diluted

Me and my 4 year old and my sisters 8 and 9 year old were stomping them then sweeping them up and doing the vinegar thing today as well as they took ov er my sisters kitchen and luandry room suddenly out of the blue . I cant squish them but I let the kids do it . I dont squish bugs

It's all this rain we're having, it drives them all inside. I've got them too, not as bad though. I use a bug service. A little more expensive, but he visits often. We have the Carpenter Ants as well, as the pavement ones.

I think it's the Indiana soil! LOL

My kitchen has tiled walls & I noticed little black ants coming out from between the tiles near my sink, going down into the sink and trying to clean the dirty plates from lunch.

Some ants like sugar, and some like grease. So I used a little peanut butter and breadcrumbs mixed with boric acid and rolled into a ball and put that in one place, and put a little boric acid in some pancake syrup, made a thick paste and put that on a small piece of plastic lid on the other side of the counter.

Got two different sets of ants taking the two different baits, one set a little bigger than the other! (The big ones are going after the sugar bait, the smaller to the PB)

It is seriously grossing me out to see them there, but I know that will soon cease as they feed this stuff to their queen & the larvae. Killing them at this point would be counter active for me, although my instinct is to beat the daylights out of 'em.

Shudder. If that doesn't work, I'll see what that Terro stuff y'all are talking about might do for us!

If I had ants all over the house in everything including my chair, I'd seriously suspect termites.

They hate mint. You can put mint leaves down or buy a safe ant spray made from mint that will keep them away. It just doesn't kill them.

My grandmother's old fashioned remedy is to put an open jar or bottle with syrup in it at the corners of the house outside. The ants will be drawn to the syrup, go down in the bottle, and get stuck in the syrup and die. She swore that this works great, but I have never tried it. We've been lucky about having no inside ants the past few years.

I usually get them in the kitchen and just vaccuum them up and spray. My friend uses grits and swears by them. Says they carry them back to the nest, eat them and then explode.
