Tiny egg!?

Have you opened it up yet?
Tiny immature ova released showing as tiny pale yolk,
or a tiny piece of tissue can break off, make it's way down and the rest of the system finishes packaging it up.

I think that is covered in this video:
Egg Formation Video

Thank you!
Yes, I finally opened it up yesterday (it was so cute I wanted to keep it for a little while) and it didn't have a yolk. So yes, it looks like it was a glitch...

I have a young English Jubilee Orpington who I have been waiting to start laying. 4 days ago she finally laid her first!! I was so excited I did not care at all (and did expect) the egg was small...smaller than a bantam egg...it was cute I was thrilled and we had a good laugh...then yesterday she laid another...even smaller....not as amused but taken in stride....today (maybe tomorrow now) she laid a 3rd egg...even smaller than the first two...I am no longer amused and although I keep telling myself this will not be the norm...that the eggs WILL get bigger....I can't help but worry....why are they all so tiny and why are they getting smaller instead of larger....I have not cracked one open yet...I don't know what to think...
