I have a couple of bantams that insist on trying to hide their eggs from me. I need to clip their wings again as I have noticed them running around outside the pen. I found a hidden egg this morning and a tiny little egg next to it. Is in common for them to occasionaly do this? Is it likely to even have an actual egg inside or just the outer shell?
I took a picture with the bantam egg, the tiny and a quail egg for size comparison.
