Tiny Egg

I just gathered my eggs an to my shock there was a tiny egg about one inch long. Now these10 pullets have been laying since last Sept. only 3 times have I gotten 10 eggs. Today I got 8 an this wee one?? Any answers.

Called a "wind egg" or a "fart egg" or an "oops egg" depending on who you ask. May or may not have a yolk. Usually a minor glitch in the egg laying system. I've gotten a few from new layers. I eat them just like the rest.
