Could someone please tell me what and why my Aracana hens are laying "teeny tiny" eggs. I can not find anything to explain in. The chickens are two years old this March.

Could someone please tell me what and why my Aracana hens are laying "teeny tiny" eggs. I can not find anything to explain in. The chickens are two years old this March.

I've heard of chickens laying an occasional "fart" egg but I'm not sure about consistently. I got this one when my hens first started laying.

That breed does come in Bantam. Do you have a photo?

I don't have an updated photo of her right now. I'll try to get one tomorrow. I'm guessing she's not, but idk. I'm still newer to chickens. Her eggs are normal sized now. She only laid a "fart" egg once. lol

Is this unusual for her? Does she normally lay a regular-sized egg? Had she been laying her normal-sized egg and then suddenly switched to the small egg or did she skip a day or two before laying the small one? Has she been acting completely normal, eating, drinking, pooping, dust bathing and roosting as usual? How is the color of her comb, wattles and face? Can you think of anything else lately that's changed? Has she been traumatized in any way, chased by a dog or anything?
