My eggs are due to hatch a week from today. When I went to turn them tonigh I noticed that one of them had several tiny globs of gooey stuff on it. I am assuming it is seaping from the egg. The egg does not appear to be damaged or cracked anywhere. What is this? Is it a bad egg? Is it going to explode?

Thanks!

Smell it, but my guess is it's infected with bacteria. One of my eggs started seeping the other day and WHEW did it stink!! Cracked it open in a plastic bag to investigate and nothing but ick in there...I'd def. remove it before your other eggs get contaminated.

Have you smelled it? Either way, if it is seeping, throw it away! Clean up any goo in the incubator, and keep checking those eggs!

Thank you! I went and smelled it and it was stinky. I tried to look through it with my flashlight but could not see anything. I removed it away from the others and smelled the rest and they all smell fine, actually no real odor at all.
