Tiny Goose Egg

I went to go check my lavender american goose's nest today, and I found a tiny egg. They have been laying for a few weeks now, and all the eggs have been good-sized. This egg is smaller than my OEGB chicken's eggs, and round, like a ball. This ever happen to you? Both the geese are laying every other day. No way any chickens could have layed there. I can take pics of it if any of you want to see it.

might help, but there can always be fluke eggs now and again. or a bird flew in and laid it.

I had tiny round eggs with my ducks. They usually don't even have a yolk in them. Nothing wrong with the eggs otherwise.
