At the end of April, I got 20 chicks from Cackle. I only ordered 15, and got one of each breed extra.

Out of that many, I figure I will have at least two or three cockerels, but Drumstick here (so named because of the thick legs) is the first of them. He was three weeks old yesterday!

For the rest, I must be content to wait and see. Although there is a little Buff Orpington that will rush any strange thing and loves to chest bump.

Yes, they are!

I figure it's like when ppl show pics of their babies. They want to hear they are extra cute. And they always are extra cute - every time.
No, they're not always extra cute. But nobody wants to tell Mamma the baby's ugly. ;)

This fella is cute enough, but right now he's a greedy pig and has a long way to go before he's a Gentleman. Ha!
