Tiny the Terrorist Attack Hen! Will She Become a Suicide Flogger?

Pics
5 weeks? O.K. you win! Mine was a mutt, I can't remember what went in there. I had about 52 layers and anywhere between 3 and 10 roosters, depending on their age and ability to stay out of Heide's way. So my chickens had a bit of a free-for-all going on. I was mostly happy with the resulting offspring, so I just let them have fun and get on with it.

New pics of Raven today at 16 weeks old. She's pretty, isn't she?

Mama Tiny back at work:

And daddy, Isaac, who is starting to flirt with Raven a bit. After all, he likes Tiny, when she isn't plucking the front of his neck (you can see the bald spot in the pic, I'm sure)

She is very sweet, yes, and she is so much like Tiny that at a distance, I'm not sure who I'm seeing sometimes. Thankfully, her eyesight is just fine-I do believe Tiny's frustration with hers is part of her aggression.

Have Tiny and Raven interacted yet ? Being Black chickens, maybe Tiny will tolerate Raven a bit more and Tiny can finally get along with someone without harassing them all the time.

Actually, no. Tiny doesn't really interact with any of the birds other than Isaac. DH saw Raven sitting next to Emily, my 3 yr old Black Rock hen, who is very low in pecking order in that flock last night at roost time. Surprised me that Emily tolerated it since she will torture anyone she can when she has the chance, being always picked on herself.
Tiny spends most of her time avoiding Deacon, the 14 week old cockerel in there. Every new male targets Tiny. Deacon started that at just 12 weeks old. Now, Rex, Deacon's older brother, is also grabbing poor Tiny.

Someone lost a spur? Yup, it's Tiny! Found it on our house steps. She and Isaac are the only birds in the main coop with spurs and this sure isn't Ike's. Of course, this is the entire outer sheath. The inner spur was still intact and sharp as an ice pick. Blunted it with cat nail clippers.
