Tiny weird egg

Today one of my hens laid a tiny(quail sized)egg. it had no yolk. Why would this happen?

I believe those are called fart eggs. Usually the first laid by young hens. Try looking it up in search. Hope that helps. How old are your hens??

I just had the same thing today! Strangely enough, I thought both the babies were roos! And mine are just 3 months old. Weird, huh? I do have 3 older hens; I wonder if older hens occasionally have fart eggs. Let us know if you start getting real eggs soon!
