I do not have any chickens who normally lay small eggs.. this one I found rolling around outside today, so not sure when it was laid. It weighed 16g and no yolk. For size reference it’s between a 56g and 43g eggs

Just a fairy egg. They’re essentially a ‘hiccup’, shouldn’t really happen again and they’re harmless. I think they’re cute!

That's cute!

My in-town flock occasionally gave me fairy eggs. I had ones with no yolk at all, ones with tiny yolks in perfect miniature proportion to the egg, and, once, one that was essentially a shell around a normal-sized yolk with just enough white that the yolk wasn't stuck to the inside of the shell.

My very first egg was tiny: 17 grams. I blew out the shell to save it. I didn't think it had a yolk, but finally a little yellow dribble came out. It's in a "nest" in small sugar bowl my grandmother gave me.
