I grew up with chickens and other fowl and got back into it 2014. I currently have replaced by older orpington and bantam flock with a new flock of several breeds. Orpington, Wydonnets, Appenzeller, EE, Ameracauna, Polish, Cream Legbar, Dampierre and a few others I can't remember at the moment. Our flock is 16 pullets and 4 upcoming roos. We find that the chickens are just a bunch of silly birds and love them all. I dream of adding a quad of small ducks and a pair of pea fowl. We also breed & raise registered Nigerian Dwarf goats and are considering getting a mini horse.
I found BYC on google and other search engines and have been reading links and threads on BYC since 2014 but decided to join so I can reach out to other members.
