Tip of beak broke off

First time chicken owner here.

When I was letting my chickens out this morning I noticed one of my little girls is missing the tip of her beak I know it’s probably not a huge issue as I’ve read they will grow back… But is there anything I need to do? Should I watch for anything? Will this affect her ability to deal with heat? (Because she’s more stressed or something ) it’s supposed to be over 100 degrees today TIA

Just watch her to see if she can eat or drink, I bought a red star once , where the lady filed her beak so far back because she was an suspected egg eater, it grew back months later, but she was fine.

For the heat you could freeze their feed in a cube of ice, it makes for a fun treat, I feed mine watermelon and spinach and frozen berries. And I ocassionally “make it rain” in my run, I’m in Florida, so my birds love when I do it.

Yeah I gave them frozen watermelon yesterday and I have some more ice treats made for today. I also have a mister set up in their run. It gets the ground of their run (not all of the run) wet though so hopefully that’s not a huge issue I swear I worry more about these chickens than my own kids

She'll be fine with that minimal damage. It will have absolutely no impact on her heat tolerance. It's hard to tell from the picture, but is the bill cracked further up towards her head? That would be more significant.

I don’t see any cracks going up. There’s a triangle cut out that might turn into a crack? I’m just hoping it doesn’t
