Tips for cutting and flattening hardware cloth?

I unrolled it on the ground and bent it flat as I went. I like cutting it with an angle grinder with a zip cut blade. Super fast and easy.

My technique as well. An angle grinder is easy to use and relatively cheap.

In re: angle grinders,

We chose the electric shears because we needed to cut metal roofing too (at least, we thought we did), and the manufacturer said that the 40-year coating would be compromised if you use an angle grinder to make the cuts because of the heat it generates.
