Today is my lockdown date for the 3 duck eggs i am incubating. I previously had a relatively small lid filled with water maintaining a 45% humidity which was perfect for me. Since i need a good 65-75% now for lockdown i am wondering if anyone has any tips. I put a much wider lid full of water in there and thats only got me up to 63%. Any helpful tips for a first timer or am i just splitting hairs at this point?

I try to get humidity to 65-70% for hatch, and wet sponges are very helpful to bring up (and maintain) humidity. I just cut up a new O-Cel-O sponge and put in soaked pieces. It makes it easy to adjust humidity: too high? Take out a sponge. Too low? Add one (or more).

Best wishes for a great hatch!
