Hello! I have a lovely, docile 8 week old peacock (at least I believe it is a male) that I will unfortunately not be able to keep long term. I really want to find him a good home. I was looking in this group and the most recent thread on the topic that I could find recommended Craigslist, but this was 6 years ago and I don’t think people still use Craigslist— do they? I am in the Dallas region and would appreciate suggestions.

People still use Craigslist here, but not sure about Dallas. The problem is that you have to be careful to get someone who is going to take good care of the bird. Someone with other peacocks or at least poultry would be best.

Also, be careful of crazies! Meet in public like at a grocery store parking lot rather than at your home.

All very good advice. Thank you so much!

Here's are young pride, the babies were born in the back acres.
Kevin, Karen and the twins and the two new sisters. I think the twins are about 3 weeks old.
