Tips on finding a good home for a peacock

McAlester Oklahoma (I really live in a small town 30 mins away but I won’t publicly say my town)

I frequently drive from Texas to Missouri and go through Oklahoma. If you were looking to adopt him, I could potentially drop him off. I wouldn’t want to part with him without knowing that he is going to a good home, as I am sure that you can understand:)

He would live with some guineas and chickens and I feed all flock, I have medicine on hand and I have family that have had peacocks for years and years so if I have any questions or feel like I am not taking proper care they are always ready to take another. My flock is super accepting and my rooster will risk his life to protect any one of the birds.

That sounds pretty nice :) Let’s keep in touch then. I wouldn’t be able to drive him till early October, but there’s a chance we could make it work. Thanks for your interest in Tony. I am attaching a couple of photos of him taken today.

He’s beutiful I think I’ll try to make it so when he gets introduced to the flock I introduce a new satin hen (because I’ve been wanting one to hatch eggs) and then that’ll take some pecking order heat off him but they usually just will peck a little if the new ones are constantly near them and welcomed guineas which they had never seen. I’m in no rush I’ve just been looking at peacocks for a while now and if you trust me than whenever you can bring him I’ll take him
