Help! I started raising rabbits (mini rex) I live in south texas, I have had 4 litters of babies and only 2 babies survived ,the mothers are not having their babies in the nest box so I have pick them up and put them in , most recent they don't even pull hair ,
Has this summer been to hot , what can I do or what am I doing wrong

The best method is breaking the neck, which you do by holding the rabbit by the feet and snapping the neck sharply.

I use the cervical dislocation method, too, and recommend acquiring equipment like a Rabbit Wringer if you're not experienced doing it. I use the Rabbit Wringer and have been pleased with it. They also have "how to" videos at their site: www.rabbitwringer.com. There are other makers, but I haven't tried any others.
