Tips on Sexing, anyone?

I don't have time right now to post pics of all my RIRs but can any one give me tips on telling who's a roo and who's not at 4 weeks? We have one who has shorter tail feathers and is very aggressive. One out six our first time choosing? It seems unlikely! Any one with any tips?

I'll post pics when I am not so pressed for time.

That should be relatively easy. Compare comb width (how thick it is) and leg heaviness. Roos have thicker combs and legs.

And I think I read somewhere on here that RIR cockerals have thicker legs and the pullets....Forget where I read that, but I remember it..lol
 
Ha! If that is the case then, we some how managed to select one roo and five pullets! Amazing!

Lucky you! I'm actually pretty good at sexing my own RIRs and I still picked out an extra cockeral. But he's rose comb so I don't mind too much.
