Tips on sexing silkies!

Too early to tell genders. A little red on the comb in a white silkie this young is not uncommon. They sure are cute little fluffers.

So I gathered photos of my Roosters, pullets and hens...

This rooster, Pickles, has red colouring over the chest and shoulders. He has VERY fluffy legs, a wide U-shaped comb, and wattle growth. He has saddles that are longer than his tail.

Here is my other rooster, Big K (kiwi).
He has very large wattles, and a wide comb. Just like Pickles, he has red over the shoulders and long saddles

Here is one of my hens, Fries. She does have saddle feathers, but they only extend to the length of her tail. Her wattles stopped growing when they are still short.

This is one of my Pullets, Blue. She is the same age as her brothers, but her wattles are a lot smaller and only started growing at 3 months old. Her comb is thin and long, instead of wide. Her saddles only extend to the length of her tail.
