tired of being called a redneck

redhen - that is right! I figure if they are calling me something then they are leaving someone else alone.

My family hollered cause we called my oldest boy Bubba...nickname...they said that sounded like a redneck..I said and the problem would be what? Heck yeah I am a redneck! I have 2 BS and a masters...I might wear a tie everyday but I come home to lots of birds! And that County can survive song hits pretty close to home!

as a side note...I don't chew and stop asking for a dip!

redneck, hillbilly, hick and the like are just badges of honor for a way of life we choose to live, not all the same but we follow similar guidelines.
1. holler if you need something, and answer others hollers
2. first aid kit includes bailin wire and "duck" tape
3. truck is for workin a car is for drivin, tractor is for both
4. eat what you got even if you have to kill it.
5. the more its been run over the more tender it will be.
6. tow chain should be easily accessible at all times.
7. 4 wheel drive isnt an accessory its a necessity.
8. if it aint loaded, you better have taken the shot already.
9. save best flannel or pearlsnap for special occasions and formal dinners.
10. denim looks good with everything especially boots and your see #9



feel free to add more please see if we can keep this goin, i am a redneck hick with hillbilly blood. so i know i have many brothers and sisters out there, just remember to convert anyone to this lifestyle that you can, one day we will all rednecks and the world will be simpler place and better to live in, youll get along with your neighbors and the ones who want to be left alone will be aloud too cause thats how we roll.
