molting season i swear it was more feathers than poop in the coop today when i went to clean it out;;

That is a lot of feathers!

Molting season is starting to wind down here, thank goodness. But it's always disconcerting to see piles of feathers in a coop -- and nearly naked hens running around with those sharp, little pin feathers sticking out all over. This, too, shall pass.

Yeah, it makes me crazy, I always wait until everyone is done before doing my fall coop clean out.
