I love chick shopping! I am trying to get Mom to let me have just ONE silkie for the laying house, but I don't know if she is going to let down her gaurd....

My wife didn't want any, thought they were ugly... then I had her hold one... Now we have 2 hens and she has the possibly sick one in a carrier next to her bed to make sure it's alright.

Funny.......here it is me (mom) that thinks they are so flippin cute.

But my 15 yo daughter said, "We arent going to have stupid looking chickens." LOL

I have an order in at ideal poultry for 10 silkies and have a few silkie eggs in my incubator.
