Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

Day 25 on my duck eggs and already have one external pip! I was turning them and going to lower them to the hatching level tomorrow. Had to rush and do it tonight

Little tiny bumble bee is still alive this morning. It is eating and drinking. It’s a fast little booger. How anyone manages not to drop or smoosh these things, I’ll never know lol.

In “bigger” news...

Day 54 with the emu eggs and.... we have a whistle! Egg B is whistling. B, C, and D are all wiggling still. I can hear C scratching, and it is doing acrobatics in there. The basement Is too noisy to record whistling, so the video is of C rocking and rolling.

Keep your fingers crossed for little B, hoping this ends better than our last try. :fl

And my 2 week old ducklings are with my layer flock. They're loving life in the big open world 😍 the big ducks weren't too sure about them and my chicken flock loves them so I decided they can live with the chickens for now.
My duckies are SO. BIG. but it is too cold for them to be outside yet. My husband keeps saying "I should have let you get twice the number of ducks," and I'm actually glad he stopped me from getting more because I wouldn't have room for 16 right now! 😂
