Hi fellow Tennesseans,
Sure wish we had known about this website before we bought our chicks - bought 4 leghorn pullets, 4 gold sex-linked pullets, and 6 supposed to be black sex-linked but may be barred rock straight run about two months ago. Bought some extra because we thought we might possibly lose some since they were day olds, but they are all doing great. Got the coop finished and they're living it up.
Anybody in the area raise sebrights? I fell in love with those years ago - friend's grandfather raised them. We wanted fresh eggs, so we bought the other breeds, but I still love the sebrights!

Anyone want a Partridge Rock hen and roo? Good free range birds 1 yr old in June. Roo is very protective and needs more hens. Roo can be aggressive at times.

I'm gonna give this anouther whirl, seeing as how I still havent found these breeds yet. I'm looking for hens or pullets of the following breeds, standard sized. I've decided that I WILL take chicks, if you have a good portion of the breeds I'm looking for, or I can find most of the breeds I want as chicks.... Temperment is MOST important - they DONT have to be show quality, but do need to be non-aggressive birds...... I'm only looking for ONE hen/pullet of each breed (color)..... What time is this one for. I was planning to go to jackson but if there are going to be closer that is great. I live very mear Union city. I'm hoping to find some EE hatching eggs or chicks.
