To all of us kids who survived the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's & 70's

62 Here. Only time we would come home during the summer was for lunch and dinner. Even now we tease each other, "You better be home before the street lights come on!!" I grew up in a small town in southern NJ. 30miles from the Jersey shore. Nothing woods and tomato fields (NJ used to produce all the tomatoes for Campbells soup and Ritters Ketchup) If your bike had a flat your road double or ran along side your friends who peddled slow enough for everyone to keep up. I'm still in contact with 2 of the girls I grew up with. They still live down the alley from my folks. Most of the kids I grew up with moved back to the same ol' neighborhood to raise their kids.

'63 here,, try being pulled behind a galloping barrel horse, down a paved street, on the old-fashioned metal roller skates hanging onto a really long rubber inner tube fastened to it's tail,,,, and people wonder why I can't walk through a metal detector??? hehehhehehehehehe!
