Silkies are great! My hen "gideon" hatched 4 of her "own" and then greedily accepted 15 from the store! She had about 10 left from what i didnt sell or seperate at a bit over 5 weeks, i just took her out yesterday. After she started laying eggs 5 days ago i figured it was time. Besides she could only sit on about 4 of the bantams now anyway! I meant to get a pic of how silly she looked with teenage bantams of all breeds surrounding her trying to get under her but i forgot!

Oh my!! :lol:... I would love to see that! I thought four under mine was a bit much! I can’t imagine 15.. or more :eek:... tiny little things!!
