I got this rooster a couple of months ago to take over the roost after I lost my last roo. The add was posted Ameracauna roosters $5. So I picked out thisone that favors a Blue Wheaten, just assuming it to an Easter Egger. The rooster ended up being free, the people just had to many and didn't want their roosters going to the boil pot. Anyways, I'm curious if this is an Easter Egger or an off colored Blue Wheaten Ameracauna? His only purpose in my flock is eyecandy, no breeding or anything, so finding out his breed is nothing but curiosity. These pictures are from my phone and not the best, just working with what I've got.

i just googled Blue Faverolle-Golden Duckwings, I've never heard of them before, the coloring is very similar. Thanks for the input.

I think he's an Easter Egger. Blue golden duckwing is a color, and that appears to be the basics of what his color is. I don't think he is part Faverolles because Faverolles have 5 toes and that is a dominant trait, and this guy doesn't have 5 toes. He's most likely a gorgeous EE.
