To brood or not to brood?

I have one rooster and one hen left, (thanks stupid raccoons), both almost 7 months old. My hen gives me one egg a day, and they are used to being locked in their coop at night and let free to range all day. She goes back to the coop to lay but stays out of it otherwise. I left a week ago to go on vacation and had to leave them locked in the coop (because, raccoons). So, I'm not against my hen hatching her eggs, but I have a feeling when I open the coop tomorrow, they're going to go back to their routine of roaming all day. Would she have had time this week to become broody? I've never had experience with this before.

I also have Wyandottes and it seems, with my Wyandottes anyway, that the older they've gotten the more likely they are to go broody. Mine are about 3 years old. I wouldn't think a 7 month old Wyandotte would go broody, but it's not impossible.
