It would also need to have a lot of 24/7 ventilation added. Have you looked on Craigslist for people that are selling coops? Often times there are people selling ones that are well made, they just don't have chickens any more and no longer need it.

Yes. Mine has both doors open all the way and it's already very warm. Granted I have a heat lamp in one section on for chicks, but it's also only 50 odd degrees here right now
