To candle or not to candle?

Yes thanks, the air sac development map is helpful! Cute cream legbar! If he's the only one, that means he's special for sure!

Thanks all, very helpful! I'm having a little difficulty keeping my humidity that low, I'm hovering mostly in 40-50s. It's how my incubator is designed but I think I've figured out a way moving forward. One really good thing about my incubator, I think the temp is good, has a fan, and it automatically moves the eggs. I also moved them around when I candled them and I'll do it again next time I candle them. I'm only 6 days in right now.

Try running it dry. I dont add any water until lockdown to mantain 30-40%

Ok, sounds like a good idea. I have put a couple of sponges on the side which seems to regulate the humidity also. I don't think I will add extra water in the other trays.

that is quite high, check the air sac, might be okay, but you just don't want 'mushy chick' or them drowning when they try to hatch :fl Also have you calibrated your humidity sensor? might just be reading high, but not actually high. Sounds like you're doing everything though! Let me know how it goes when you hatch :jumpy
