To candle or not to candle....

I am going to candle tonight!! From what everyone is saying, the incubator needs to remain closed after day 18 until the hatch is complete. It is so hard to wait, but I will this time. I think I lost two during my last hatch because of dried out membranes.

Much as I would love to see the progression of the eggs, I candle only on day 18!!! It's hard and I love to see the embryo develop, but it lowers the hatch rate, especially since we don't heat our house or heat the room we're looking at them in and the drying out effect too....
