My Pied peahen broke her wing at a neighbors so had it set by a vet. The feathers were trimmed off and I can't believe how long it's taking for them to grow back......I'd say a year if not more. She needs to go through a complete molt. She has no problem hopping up 5 to 6 feet in the pen to roost nights. Now have to decide if I'll let her free range anymore.
