To cold for button quail?

I don't think it is.
I think they would be fine in the shed without a heater.

Also I see you post about quail a lot. Do you have a thread that just keeps updates on them? I have button quail as well and I'm interested in seeing how other people are doing with them

If the shed is insulated and doesn't get below 40F, they should be okay. Make sure they have small shelters that they can use. The small shelters will retain their body heat.

I read on here somewhere that space heaters put out toxic fumes that are dangerous for quail. Not sure about that. I’d like more information.

Yeah. I only started owning them in April but since they reach so fast I've already produced three generations

I hadn't heard about heaters being toxic. Hope the button pairs will be okay in my basement with a baseboard type space heater. Extra males will go in the shed with an oil filled radiator but I don't have extras that I know of yet.

I have not heard of space heaters being toxic either unless they contain teflon. Teflon fumes can be toxic to birds.

So far I took out their heat plate and the button quail seem to be doing just fine without the heat for about a week now so I don't think I'll have a heater either way.
