I'm partial to runners too because they're so funny to watch the way they all run together in a group. Their little personalities are just too cute. I think the best thing is that when people see them for the first time they can't believe it. They think all ducks are ducks like at the local pond and when they see how different runners are they just start giggling.

I don't think I would put a big drake with those little kc's but that's just me. I'm sure there are people who've had great success doing that but not something I'd be willing to try.

We have a Rouen as well named Willie he’s super calm and the girls love him.
I can totally see the boy pekins being annoying our 3 girl pekins can be such bullies.
I personally would go with runner because I want one so bad!
Drakes are so adorable in my opinion if they layed eggs I would have only boys lol that little frog voice is my favorite thing in the world.

I have a Drake Cayuga named Mr. T. He is beautiful. He treats his 5 ladies very well and hasn't been rough on them he seems to favor one of my roeun girls, Buttercup. He has a mild temperament for the most part except for when I hold him and try to pet him he will be a bit aggresive towards me. I think that may be more of an individual trait or me not not working on handling well enough with him since he gets just as excited to see me and eats from my hand and isn't afraid of me. Just hates being handled (very prideful I think)

What does he do I feel like after having geese I don’t even know when a duck is being aggressive lol. Does he just bite at you? Mine will nibble if I hold them but it’s at my necklace or my zippers. Is it like an old man who lost his dentures trying to bite your fingers off lol?
