To early for outside full time ?

I have 5 week old RIR is it to early to put them outside with out an extra heat source they do have most of their feathers when they went outside they are playing around for the most part digging around they do have a house to go inside to stay out from the wind as well but when I bring them inside and if the heating lamp is off they will gather around each other and just sleep even though it’s warmer inside than it is outside! The Temps at night are around 56-45 degrees Fahrenheit

Do you have them weaned from their heat source and is the coop and run predator proof?my chicks did fine at 5 weeks. They're 7 weeks now and spent the night outside in 20 degree weather but they have been weaned from their heat source for a bit already

Also, is that just 1 chick in all 3 pictures or 3 different chicks. Because of its 3 different chicks then you have 3 cockerels.

If they are acclimated they will be fine. How many do you have? The one in the picture is a male just in case you didn't know.

I have turned off the heat source during the day time and only turn it on at night and have been bringing them outside for the last week to get used to their space yes we have it predator proof ! We even have an extra fence put up around the run and the coop ! I have to keep my baby’s safe ! How long did you wean them off the heat !?

I have 6 of them . Two pictures were of the same one ! I was trying to use the best close-up pictures of them to show the feathers I have a feeling I have three cockerels and three pullets but wasn’t positive !

Those pictured are cockerels.

I figured they were I only know for sure that one is a hen at least I’m praying so if you see her she is The one with the smallest comb
