Did you find plans or make plans for the electrical systems and the door/drain controls? My hubby would be all over that as soon as I said the words "duck house" and "bluetooth" in one sentence.

I made/am making it myself, but I would be more than happy to send the schematics across to you when its all done and working correctly. Although I am shying away from the bluetooth idea as that is going to cost a lot more than I first though. Im probably going to hard wire everything in but still run it to a single control panel, which will still be completely awesome. Also looking at a semi bluetooth/semi hardwire system too. My first idea was to have a bluetooth reciever on every item that would operate (one on the door, one on the pump, one on the feeder, etc) BUT, I may hardwire all these into one box with a bluetooth control instead. Being an engineer, as im sure your husband will explain, we start with one idea, then add to it, the add to it, then add more to it, then more, and so on.

Duck pond filtration system added! Looking and working pretty good. Took a while to get the container not over flow when pumping the water out as my pump is awesome, had to make a few handy calculations to get the container to stay at a constant level when emptying and filling, but its all working pretty good now, plus I can turn it on and off from my front room! Im trying to prepare myself for the lovely english weather we have, dont wanna be out in the rain when I dont have to be! Il update with more pics soon!

I could manage walking outside to open the door of the house manually, but it's the permanent pond and drain system I'm fired up about! please keep us posted! Duck bath water would be great for some garden or orchard irrigation....
