But I will say it isnt finished yet, im going to have all kinds of gadgets in it to make life a little easier.
GADGET LIST:
1: A fitted pump system to drain the water in the pond at the flick of switch.
2: An outside lighting system operated by a switch.
3: A feeder and waterer also operated by a switch.
4:An door opener, again also operated by a switch.
5: A barrel full of water (rain water) ready to refill the pond, connected directly to the pond with an electric operating system to open and close the valve when refilling.
All these gadgets are going to be operated by ONE! Yes thats right, ONE control panel operating via bluetooth! Im an electrical and electronic engineer by trade so its a fun project.
Just imagine it, A control panel sat in the kitchen window that does all the duties you would otherwise have to go and do manually! Now I will get more time to just spend with the ducks giving them treats!
The issue of raking and hosing the stones down has not been covered yet but im working on a sprinkler system that is also operated by the one control panel.
So all in all, I could possibly have the most HI-TECH duck house in the world!
Il have another look at doing that properly now. The duck in question as to what is sex is 4 months old now, and her/his brother has definitely got the curl! The duckling broke her leg, she now walks on the "knee" joint and never uses her foot, but shes been to the vets and shes getting on ok now.

Glad she's okay. thought it looked odd. I have a drake that is 2-3 weeks older than my others and still no curl and one of the younger drakes got his curl at 6 weeks. I think it just depends. Does it quack? By that age, if its a girl it should be quacking. If not than I'd say male.
I have a dirty water pump and a pond vacuum, so il just have to use them to keep it clean. My garden is a weird shape so I had to adapt the space to get the most out of it (and still keeping some of the garden for myself). Im glad you all like it!
