Mine get their grit from the ground. I have 34 birds...4 of which are in 2 breeding pen/chicken tractors. Those 2, I remembered I had the tin baby feeders with the holes , to which you put on the jar. I put oyster shell in those. One for each chicken tractor. The rest of the flock, in the main run,..I just toss a scoop of shell on the ground, and add more as they consume it.
