I think your birds are spoiled! Its the same with people, people who are used to smaller accomodations are happy with them whereas those who are used to huge mansions feel cramped in a smaller house.

lol, you are probably right!! Spoil brats they are!!

Mine aren't. I got mine days ago from a crowded cage, and they have been in a gerbil cage since. There are just 5 of them, and they have .5 sq ft. each. They get along pretty well though.

Quail are alot more durable when it comes to laying. With chickens, wierd weather, no treats(Scraps), dirty pen, they can all make a chicken quite laying very quickly! But with my quail it seems that they tolerate plenty of things, crowding, weather and just plain conditions. One of my hens had me digging eggs out from under 6 inches of snow a few months ago
