    Hi All!
This is our first year with a Rooster. He is VERY amourous with our ladies:love, so much so that I need to apron 8 of the 10 girls for bare backs (or the beginning of them). My question is...does this usually continue at this pace? Will he lose his stamina eventually?
I am really afraid that he's going to hurt one of them. We kept 1 of the "freebie" males that came with our order in the fall thinking he would be great protection as our girls free-range. I am not so sure that we should keep him.
    What would you do??

We have 10 girls and one roo and they are all about 7 months old
    Thanks!!

I suppose he could calm down, but I would just get about 5 more hens. [IMG]
