Hi All,
I have 4 pullets that are 27 weeks old. My white rock laid at 22 weeks and my easter egger laid at 24 weeks. My RIR has yet to lay~ still a bit skittish but her comb is growing and darkening and she loves to sing. My lt brahma also has not laid but that I expected as I hear they are late to mature. So my question is with the days shortening, do you think they will lay before winter or could I get lucky and have 4 layers all winter?! Thanks for your advice!

Just cleaned the coop and found this! Had to have been “dropped” in the last 3 days, since that was the last cleaning. Is that typical of a first time layer~ to have a shell-less egg then not lay for a day or two? Or could this even be from one of my other pullers that are a bit more predictable?
